After I posted this a couple of readers expressed that 20-feet is not very deep. At least not enough for a bad-ass secret lair of a bad-ass-street-vigilante demigod.
I beg to differ. I think 20-feet is deep enough.
Remember, our Judge is a regular joe, not some billionaire playboy with a huge naturally-formed ditch under his house. Therefore he had to construct this lair himself. Now if you ask me, how deep should I dig? First, I would dig the depth of a regular basement, around 10-feet, give or take, depends on how much time you’ve got. And then, I would dig another 10-feet. DONE! Totally rad!
Nobody digs 20-feet for a regular basement. Trust me on this.
